Its location was stunning and beautiful, just off areas such as the Pump Room/ Roman Baths/ Abbey, the centre of town and the Pub in the Park festival. Sometimes it was chilly outside, so we went to Pollocks Fish and Chips, had some food there.

The location to leave to go sightseeing was stunning and amazing for us. And we were short walk to shops and restaurants, many areas, and the restaurant which was undergoing renovation.

I found the gardens to be an oasis of tranquility, along with beautiful rooms. The proximity to Royal Victoria Park, just a short walk away, allowed for leisurely strolls that added to my enjoyment of the city.

loved all the personal care, attention, and service. staff made us feel special, noticed and familiar. the spa is rather limited but comfortable to have within the premises. the gardens are joy to relax in. the staff give great service, polite, friendly and courtoius. we certainly have it on the top of our list to recommend and to revisit. the reception staff are very informative and helpful and pleasant to chat with to make us feel at home.
these are not complaints...mostly suggestions to better the service. i feel involved enough to wish the hotel well. 1)maybe woolen blankets and feather pillows can be removed for guests who have allergies. so that can be determined ahead of stay. 2) although it was lovely dining in the restaurant, service was rather slow so we would prefer a buffet breakfast to up-and-go in the morning. 3) issues between staff in the kitchen could be overhead in the dining area and not so pleasant. 4)it would be nice to have fruit offered around hope it was fine to add these suggestions. would love to return hugs to all

The garden was extremely pleasant, the views from the room were good and the spa facilities were enjoyable. Concierge was helpful and the atmosphere was generally peaceful. Very handy location for exploring Bath.
Bar prices and charge for tea in the room.

They gave us a nice size and well-appointed deluxe queen room in the old style. The location was historic, a short walk from a world renowned Fashion museum. It also was close to the city centre.

The hotel's large garden was a getaway from the hustle, perfect for my kids to play while we enjoyed the fine views of the valley. The staff were cute, from the housekeeping to management.
My kids wished for a more extensive children's menu at breakfast.

The staff were excellent and the location of the hotel. The garden was the high point an unexpected delight
The carpets in the public areas in some cases were frayed and the chairs in the bar could have been cleaner. Also the television in our room did not work properly and neither did the replacement

Excellent location for access to Bath City Centre - very friendly staff, good breakfast and spa facilities. Could not fault it for a relaxing couple of days stay in Bath.

The spa was very nice, staff were friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was excellent.
The room was ok, nothing special. TV was very small, there was no mini bar, and even though we were told wifi was available in every room, it was not available in ours, or in the downstairs of our building. It was very disappointing not to be in the main hotel, and we had no idea that this would be the case.

Awesome location to explore bath, super comfy room with nice decor, amazing breakfast spread with lotsa options. The staff were super chill, especially the bar crew, they made some rockin cocktails! Loved the gardens n the spa area, just perfect!
The service at the restaurant was a bit slow, took ages to get our tea and sandwiches. The room lacked some basics like enough space for our stuff.

The hotel was warm, relaxed and welcoming. The staff struck the right balance between being friendly, and unintrusive. The hot stones Spa treatment was excellent
The salt cellars in the restaurant had pepper in them for 2 days. We spoke to the restaurant staff and they vcorrected the prblem, and it was dealt with on the second day and corrected to our satisfaction with a good service manner.by a waitress, not the manager.
